Our biomethane-powered, EU-sponsored adventure begins! The BIOMETHAVERSE project kicked off in Paris on November 23, 2022, chez ENGIE and Lab CRIGEN. Representatives from all 22 partners, coming from 9 different countries, attended the meeting, led by the project coordinator, ISINNOVA, and the technical coordinator, European Biogas Association.

With 5 years ahead and almost 10 million euros onboard, BIOMETHAVERSE can’t wait to push forward scalable biomethane technologies all over Europe, starting from its five pilot demonstrators in France, Italy, Greece, Sweden and Ukraine, that set out to be pathfinders in diversifying the production base for biomethane.
